| Objectives |
- Contribution to the progress of national
industry, construction and agriculture in cooperation
with competent authorities.
- Regulation of the practices of engineering
profession and the improvement of professional
performance in cooperation with competent authorities.
- Exertion of efforts to foster relations as
well as scientific and technical cooperation
between engineers in the UAE and their colleagues
in other Arab and foreign countries.
- Participation in elaborating theoretical and
practical studies in the field of engineering,
and the encouragement of engineers to carry
out such studies through the publication of
such studies, as well as the holding of lectures
& seminars, the organization of field trips
and the exchange of information between the
UAE Society of Engineers and its counterparts
in other countries.
- Provision of specialized consultancy, if requested
to do so.
- Encouragement of training in the vocation
of engineering by all available means in the
state.
- Contribution to the arbitration of engineering
expressions and the elaboration of Arab engineering
standards jointly with governmental institutions
in the UAE as well as authorities and associations
in other Arab countries.
