  6. Achieving the financial self-sufficiency and getting extra means of income which guarantee. The revenues increase up to ten million dirham annually and making use of the available financial resources.
  7. Constructing an effective network of information and enhancing it by information center containing the recent references, periodicals, systems and the local, regional and international statistics in the same field.
  8. Constructing an engineering institute for subsidiary professions to qualify the national human cadres in order to meet the needs of the local market instead of the foreign workers in all fields.
  9. Having data bases of the institutions, recruitment and experts in the new and micro engineering specializations.

Engineer

  1. Increasing the number of the members joining the society up to six thousand working members and eighty thousand affiliated members by end of 2020.
  2. Developing the members' competitive abilities and activating their roles by holding conferences, courses, seminars and the specialized professional workshops and getting all the members involve.
  3. Helping the members to get jobs in the public and private sectors through training the local engineers and securing his future.
  4. A data base for the development and training programs.
  5. A data base for the engineers' recruitment.
  6. Setting up a social insurance systems to achieve equality and social justice among all members in order to encourage affiliation to society.
  7. Achieving the local engineers' performance distinctions.
  8. The percentage of the local engineers must not be less than 50% in the private sector.
  9. We have specialists in the new and micro engineering specializations.
  10. Getting a clear machinery to gain the international expertise and enhancing technology.

Profession

  1. Setting up the profession regulations and roles according to the traditions of the local community to be a constituent document of the society.
  2. Opening new horizons for the professional and training work in the UAE to keep pace with the international development.
  3. Adopting the engineering problems and seeking to get scientific and practical and solutions and providing the technical consultations regarding the participation of members in cooperation with universities, institutes and the scientific research institutions.
  4. Organizing the engineering regulations and forming specialized committees which are concerned calibration and standardization and issuing certificates.
  5. Approving professional levels for various engineering specializations according to the international standard and seeking to apply them in the government and private sectors.
  6. Developing and applying regulations which controls issuing licenses and engineering practices for individuals and institutions working in the engineering field.

Community

  1. Contributing to train students and providing job opportunities to the fresh graduates.
  2. Spreading awareness in the community clarifying the role of our society and engineers' role in the community and displaying the engineering system and concepts by issuing publications and guiding books.
  3. Responding to the engineering issues which are important to the community, particularly emergencies and disasters.
  4. Getting benefits of the globalizations positive aspects and evading its negative risks.
  5. Legislations and laws contributing to protect profession
  6. An effective role in the architectural planning policy

The Public and Private Sectors

  1. A strong network of the real partnership built on achieving the mutual benefit with the public and private sectors in the field of practicing profession and researches.
